| Yoko Nishimoto is an Asian Affair Consultant/Trainer and a Certified Practitioner of NLP. Yoko has given numerous lectures on cross cultural issues in both Japan and the US., applying principles of NLP. A teacher for 17 years in the Houston Independent School District, she created the Japanese Language curriculum for elementary through high school students. She believes that communication challenges between different countries cannot be improved by only speaking the language, but also by understanding their culture and communication styles, including body language and other factors accepted by the society where the language is spoken. With her unique background working with largely diversified groups (cross cultural) she believes that NLP communication methods are the most useful tools to bridge language and cultural barriers between U.S. and Japan and other Asian countries. She focuses on consulting and training American corporations and individuals which have business relationships with Japanese corporations.
