NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is the study of excellence. Excellence is a skill, and like any skill it can be learned.
NLP is both the science and art of personal excellence. Art because you bring your own unique style and personality to what you do. Science because there is a method, a process to the patterns used by successful individuals. These patterns can be learned.
"Neuro" means we experience the world through our five senses; we make "sense" of the information and then act on it. "Linguistic" means we use language to order our thoughts, define our world and communicate with others. "Programming" refers to how we choose to organize our ideas and actions to produce results.
Once you know how to create and maintain your inner thoughts and feelings, you can choose patterns to maximize your strengths, add those you need to get where you want to be and minimize those that stand in your way to success.
NLP was first developed in the early 1970’s by information scientist Richard Bandler and linguistics professor John Grinder. They created a way to analyze and transfer human excellence. NLP today is internationally recognized and influences every field of excellence such as communications, business, education, health, and sports. |
